October Releases: DIAL TONE ( You Disapeared Without A Trace)

 

Welcome to Another installment of The Echo Tribune Blog

With only a week away we bring Extravagant announcements for the month of October!

One of many major releases for October is Dial Tone: 

A show at the new Fazbear's Mega Pizza Plex where it was supposed to be a headlining show for the Dead of Dawn tour went horribly wrong. When having to play side by side for a set of animatronics something goes wrong, and their main animatronic- glam rock Freddy starts to glitch and things take a turn for the worse. having to hide one by one Laurens's bandmates disappear. Will she be able to find them in time? Or will her luck have run out?

We follow the band: Wings of Tragedy through their journey through the pizza plex dodging animatronics, and hardships, but wait where do they all go? A while back the author made a few theories that surrounded this book- 

• Instagram post (Late April 2023): "Okay so i don't know who this will reach but, um, i was listening to Dial Tone by Catch Your Breath, a few things i must add, 1.) i love this song, 2.) I know this may not have any relation to it, but holy cr*p. So these lyrics can go either way but once again a few things to add with it: 1.) I am hoping to make a certain kind of fan fiction with this. The book cover will explain it. And for those who know who Sundrop and Moondrop (The Daycare Attendant) are, awesome. But the following lyrics "You Disappeared without a trace. You never bother to explain. You just walked away." My Original theory was this: Afton and his daughter because she didn't roam off with one of the animatronics- baby to be exact? I could be wrong so correct me if i am.

• Instagram post (Wednesday, April 5, 2023) "Welcome readers to dial tone, my first ever take on five nights at Freddy fan fiction. i am very much looking forward to releasing it on O*****r 14. A few days before the movie. Now my original idea for this was created back in April when i listened to a song. And at the time i had an entirely different take on this. But with a bit of tweaking and of course updates. This has a new start to it. The following news was released back in May: The movie(October 27), Ruin DLC (July 25), as well as Help Wanted 2.

    Moving forward with this: the entire story switched up as the Ruin DLC came out as an update to the security breach on July 25, 2023. With new development with it a lot of hidden secrets, hidden endings, and a whole lot of lore to bring with it as well. We are introduced to a friend of Gregory, Cassie. She apparently received a distress call from Gregory at the pizza plex only to find out later, it was all set up by “ The Mimic”. Living true to its name we have many questions to come even with that alone. Another major secret that was released was some players were finding a secret room in “Bonnie Bowl”, with what was revealed in the secret room was the question answered from a security breach- “Where was Bonnie?” his body was hidden away in the back room. 

Now with this- we see before it in Montey’s Gator Golf. Playing as Cassie we go around with a “Vanny Mask” and find different ways to enter as we make our way to Gator Golf we ride the tram up to the catwalks and find the original story of Monty himself. So the question is- did Monty really kill Bonnie or was he set up at the suspected time of his death?

My guess- no, the reason why I’m saying that is- Monty looked up to Bonnie, he was his idol. With hopes of following in his footsteps one day, my guess is Vanny or someone controlling Vanny/Vanessa pulled the strings and made it look like Monty did so, hiding the clues and tracks leading up to the frame. 

In Dial Tone, there will be elements from all of the games leading up to the most recent release/update- SB Ruin DLC. 

Moving on temporarily from this topic there is a whole lot to come this entire month, between stand-alone books, Halloween’s Curse collection, and much more there is so much to look forward to. For now, this is a hopeful idea of what is to come:
